A couple of my recent projects....

As well as putting the final touches to the April Kits I managed to create the following two layouts using new products to our store. The first layout features the new Glitz Collection 'Pretty in Pink'. This project will be in our 'Shop by Project' section soon so you can see what I used to create the layout :)

The other layout I created used the new Echo Park 'Woof' Collection (mixed with some Best Creations 'Puppy Love') - perfect for my bouncing puppy!

I found this layout harder to create as I usually love detailing layouts with lots of flowers, bling and generally making them dimensional but it is good to try different ways of scrapping than your usual style - the layout ended up fun and funky which seems to work for the photo :)

Lastly, I created this layout below a while ago using the My Minds Eye 'Follow Your Heart "Be Happy"' Collection:

All of the papers and embellishments used were from the same set by My Minds Eye and the flowers were stamped and cut out using the Heartfelt Creations 'Innocents Flowers 2' cling rubber stamps.

April Mini Kit.... Sneak Peek

I thought I would share our April Mini Kit with you today as a sneak peek before it goes online next month :)

I created both of the layouts and the card from this kit so whilst its a 'mini kit' enough is included to create two layouts with left overs!

A Couple of Recent Projects...

I have been working on a few projects which I thought I would share today. The first is a layout using the brand new Prima Marketing collection 'Nature Garden'. Unlike my usual layouts not many different papers were used to create this layout. The flowers used were also Prima Marketing as well as the Roman Column, alphabet and the black lace border. A Daisy D's Rub on was used, a Bo Bunny clear stamp on the top right hand corner and the new Tim Holtz Sizzix Alterations Die - Bird Branch.

Have you seen our new section on the website 'Shop by Project'? If not then we will be adding new projects to this section and all of the products used to create the project will all be together to make shopping a little easier :) Just click on the layout/card in the above section to see the products used.

 Sometimes it is difficult to choose flowers/cardstock etc online which match so seeing it used on a project might give a little inspiration. It is also very frustrating seeing a product which has been used on a product and not being able to find out what it is!

New Bo Bunny - Serenity Collection

I have just created a card using the Brand New Bo Bunny Collection 'Serenity'. I fell in love with the colours in this collection and the first thing that came to mind was of an oriental Magnolia stamp! I am definately more of a 'scrapbooker' but this card seemed to come together so easily and I am so pleased with the finished result...

'Serenity' by Bo Bunny is on its way to us right now as well as other brand new Bo Bunny collections recently released so check the website soon!

April Monthly Kit Sneek Peek...

March Monthly Kits ......

I have now finished the March monthly kits for the website so I thought I would preview the layouts on here :) 

(April's Main Kit is also done - I am organised and ahead of myself for once! and will show this as a sneak peek soon)

First up today is the main kit for March which features Echo Parks new collection 'This & That Graceful' along with some brand new My Minds Eye.

I created both of the layouts below using this kit:

We also have a March Monthly Mini Kit:

I have shown the mini kit in one of the recently added Prima Marketing 12" x 12"  frames that we have in stock. The frame is not included in the kit but it shows how lovely layouts can be presented. The frame in this mini kit is by Dusty Attic and I used 'Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent Watercolor Paint in Midnight Black' (You cannot see from the photo but it does have a beautiful sparkle finish to it).

The kits will be online tomorrow (1st March) :)

January Monthly Kit Sneak Peeks.....

I thought I would share today my layouts for the January Monthly kits as a sneak peek....

"Snowfall"

 The main kit is 'Snowfall' and perfect for any snowy/wintery photos ... (hopefully we get some snow down here in the South!)

The kit will contain all of the products which I used to create the layouts including the glitter sign and the chain it is hanging on! All that isn't included are tools such as adhesives and the ink colouring used on the lovely Dusty Attic Window Frame Chipboard!

"Avalon"

We have also recently received some new products from a new manufacturer at The Craftz Boutique - Bella! These are not online yet but will be added very soon! So for a second kit, I created the following layout using their new collection 'Avalon', mixed with Dusty Attic, Crate Paper, Petaloo and Prima products.

"Enchanted"

These will be online on the 1st January :)
